Battle of the cleansers

Cleansers, cleansers, cleansers! It’s random how I’ve collected 6 cleansers within a short period of time. I was going through my cabinet last night, and realized I had 6 cleansers. In my head, I owned only 2 or 3. So today, I’ll be reviewing each of these cleansers, in case you have seen them around and wandered about them. Feel free to share your thoughts on them below.

Let’s start with my fave: Dudu Osun.  Continue reading “Battle of the cleansers”

The Perfect Gift

‘Tis the season to be thankful! And I am super thankful for all of you. I have been trying my hardest this week to be motivated and productive as opposed to just lazying around since I have my thanksgiving break this week. I think I’m doing an okay job so far. To those of you currently writing exams, goodluck to you all! May the speedforce be with you (if you watch Flash, you’ll get that).

Today is all about being thankful, sharing gifts and food with the ones dearest to your heart. Speaking of sharing, that’s what this post is about. What do you often share with those you love? Do you share money, material things or do you prefer  giving from within. I’ve come up with 3 things that I like to share or give personally to people aside from material things because trust me while it is great to give presents to people (even those who don’t appreciate them), it is very easy to buy things for people forgetting that other things matter too. I suffered from numerous cavities and because of my horrible experience with dentists (I got beat by a dentist once because I didn’t like injections), I refused to let my cavities be taken out anymore. In junior high school, I had this deep hole in my bottom tooth and it was disgusting.   Continue reading “Let’s Chat! Insecurities”

Just another Chapter

img_7809Hi everyone! I know I know, not all of you are in the mood of reading a blog post today but wait. Don’t shut me out just yet, this post isn’t about me today, it’s about all of us. I know a lot of you are disheartened, confused, disappointed and heart broken and trust me, I get you. But in the midst of this chaos, it is very easy to forget that this election period was merely another chapter in this long story book of the world. I am reading this new book (picture below) by Devon Franklin, and I was encouraged by some of his thoughts and I thought I would share with you guys what he wrote. Trust me, this is in relation with what is going on with the world! I hope you are encouraged. Continue reading “Just another Chapter”

Would you still wear school uniforms?

Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

Remember back in high school when we were forced to wear school uniforms? I won’t be wrong if I was to say that almost everyone was against this concept, will I?. I know my friends and I were not having it. We would try to shorten our school skirts, be fancy with our school cardigans or do anything to feel like we weren’t trapped in uniform.
