Huge Ulta Haul| Mini Review

Hi guys, happy weekend! I was so anxious all week, anxious for the weekend (because the week was too darn stressful) and for my upcoming posts (they promise to be exciting). Without further ado, let’s get into this mini haul, all from Ulta Beauty.

Remember when I reviewed different mascaras in my recent review and said if I had to buy any, it would be the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara.Well, I stayed true to my word and bought it. Read the  review to find out why.

Next thing I got is this Mario Badescu Grab and Go kit. It contains a facial spray for hydration and glowy skin, and a drying lotion that claims to dry out pimples instantly. I used the facial spray all week, and I fell in love. My skin feels hydrated, not oily in the mornings when I use it. I can’t tell you much about the drying lotion yet, but I’ll keep you updated.

Next up is the Real Techniques 2 miracle complexion sponge. I prefer this sponge to the beauty blender, and not because it’s cheaper. I love it’s 2-in-1 use. I use the flat end for my foundation application, and the pointy end for my under eyes.

I’ve heard so much about Eylure lashes that I decided to go out and get a pair for myself. I haven’t worn them yet, but they look beautiful, and I’ll let you know how they wear later.

This Porefessional primer is the truth! Guys, it’s the best primer I have tried for my oily skin, I wore it for about 12 hours yesterday, and my makeup did not move. I’m so ecstatic that I finally found my perfect match! (corny hahaaa). Funny thing is that it doesn’t even feel like primer when you use it, it’s gel formula sinks into the skin, and it’s not tacky.

I wanted to get a red blush since I heard they look very nice on dark-skinned girls. Thankfully, Nyx had me covered with this Primal face pressed red powder. It wasn’t available in-store and I had to order it online.

I’m sure you’ve heard a lot (if not too much) about the Tarte shape tape concealer. It is everyone’s favourite, so I had to get one for myself to see what the hype was about. I really like it, mostly because it is full coverage and I found my perfect shade. I used it this week without foundation for an everyday look, and it was my imperfections did not peak through. My only issue with this concealer is the shade range, Tarte needs to expand the range to suit more dark skinned women.

I needed new pencil liners, so I opted for the essence liners because they had really good deals that day. I got a white and navy blue liner. I used the white liner yesterday, and it was pretty good.

I heard about the Tarte Eye jewels the day before going to Ulta from a Youtuber. Although, it was an impulsive buy, it is so worth it. It makes glitter application very easy, unlike the Nyx glitter liner I used before (that one was difficult to apply).

These pictures are proof of one swipe of the glitter on my lids.

In my post here, I couldn’t review eye liners because I have a love hate relationship with liners. However, I’ve been using this Stila liner for years now, and although I unintentionally dry it out, it’s still the liner I always run back too. Only thing I don’t like about this is the price ($22).

If you made it to the end of this post, thank you so much for sticking around. Have you tried and liked or hated any of the products mentioned? Don’t forget to like, comment, share (please share), and have a beautiful weekend.
