My Love Hate Relationship with Spring

It’s Spring time! Yes, it’s time to ditch those bulky winter accessories and come alive, and I know I’m not alone in my feelings. Even though it hasn’t felt much like spring in Philadelphia, I walked out of my dorm on Monday and I almost shed tears of joy because the weather felt so good. That feeling  inspired me to dress cute all week and write this post.

One thing I love about spring time is definitely the weather. I wake up to sunny mornings, and my mood is immediately uplifted. It’s not as cold as winter, but not crazy hot like summer. It’s almost perfect and I get to dress fancy and what not. However, if you live in Philadelphia, this is not always the case. Mother nature decides to play us on some days like last week, and it is very cold. I hate days like this, I want it to be warm always (is that too much to ask?). Another good thing about spring is longer days and shorter nights. The sun sets at about 7pm unlike 5pm during the winter. I don’t feel like my day has gone by without being productive.

Since flowers and trees bloom during spring, this means more rainfall. I appreciate the rain, I really do but only when I’m indoors and I can sleep all day. I don’t want it raining and wet when I’m running late for classes or trying to be cute (like in the picture below). That’s my only dilemma with spring.

Thanks for reading people, I love you. Now I know some of you might not like Spring, and I want you share your reasons below. What is you favourite season? Mine is undoubtedly Summertime, and it is around the corner. Don’t forget to like, comment, subscribe and share.
