Hi everyone, welcome back to another style post. It’s been long since I did one of these (let’s hope I remember how). I was inspired by Jennifer Amani when I saw a dashiki look on her Instagram some days ago. I got this vibrant green dashiki from Perade (my favourite African store) and you can purchase yours via this link or through their Instagram.
For my first style, I paired my green dashiki with a pair of leggings and black flats. Nothing fancy, just a causal look that was worn to class. The picture was taken a year ago, as you can see I was looking like a baby girl.
This next picture is very impromptu, I was scrolling through my pictures and found it from October 1st 2015. I remember wearing this dashiki to celebrate Nigeria’s independence day that year, telling everyone who cared to notice that it was country’s birthday. I should win an award for most patriotic citizen. That time, I paired the dashiki with a pair of black stockings and white sneakers. I remember getting loads of compliments.
For my last look, I wanted to look classy for a school gala I attended two weeks ago. I ditched my leggings and opted for a pair of dark blue skinny jeans with black pumps. I was too lazy to do anything with my hair, hence the scarf and hoop earrings. I loved the outfit, it made me feel like a grown woman going about her business.
Over to you, which look is your favourite, or which one would you rock? Don’t forget to like, share, comment, subscribe. I love you, and have a great week!
The last one is my fav❣

The colour green looks great on you. Plus your white sneakers gave the oufit a totally different look that I love.
