Let’s Chat| Much needed Break

Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

Excuse me there,

I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you, I mean maybe just a little bit. But before you get all worked up, this post isn’t me telling you that I’m taking a break from blogging. It was what the post was meant to be about but I had a change of heart. I thought I was getting overwhelmed and needed a break because I wasn’t pushing out as much posts as I wanted to, but that was only because of final exams. Then, I thought I had an excuse to stay away for three weeks because I’ll be going on a trip, and needed to unplug (it sounded like a valid reason), but this is not the case anymore.

I took an unplanned blogging break for a week, and I missed it. I itched to write even when I knew time wasn’t in my favor. That’s when I realized I love this a lot. Blogging has been rewarding so far, it’s taught me a whole lot, and I’ll share my lessons another day. I probably read my posts more than anyone, and they motivate me. I read posts I’ve shared relating to the struggle I’m facing in that moment and I am inspired by myself (sounds super strange but it’s true). I’m growing and having a journal to document the growth is amazing. To be able to share it with you guys is an additional blessing.

I guess what I wanted to get across in this post is that sometimes break are needed. I needed to take a break (even if unplanned) to appreciate my blogging sphere. So my question for you is, when or how do you know it’s time to take a break? Even if it’s something you love doing. If you are a blogger, have you ever felt like quitting? If so, what motivated you to bounce back?

I want to learn from you guys so I might get tips for the future.

Thank you again for stopping by! You already know I love you. Please support the ministry by liking this post, leaving a comment, reading others, and sharing on your social media platforms.

  1. Sometimes, it’s okay to take a break and breath or live.

“How vain is it to sit down to write when you have not stood up to live.”

    I try to remember this.
