Funny story of how I started blogging

Hello beautiful,

91AF669E-BC49-4030-9F67-7DD62D708F6B

How time does fly. It’s been a full month of not writing or putting up any post, and this wasn’t my intent. Let me tell you, I had such huge blog plans for summer 2017. I was going to put up posts almost daily, and be annoyingly consistent. I’m so happy for you guys that this didn’t happen. I was very excited, but you know how life is, you can only plan for the future but you never know how it’ll go. God had a lot of unexpected plans for me. For example, I thought I would have plenty free time during the summer than I did during school but this wasn’t the case. I don’t know how it happened, but summer felt busier than the past semesters. Busy in the greatest way possible. Busy learning, growing, exploring and relaxing. Since I wasn’t prepared for the workload, I slacked with keeping up. But now, I’ve gotten into a steady rhythm of things (just when summer is about to end, yay me), and I’m back!

As you know, starting is always the hardest part, so if you’re reading this, you should be happy to know that I overcame the hard part and my brain is about to witness an outpouring of ideas. Just in case this doesn’t happen, please leave me comments below with ideas of what you want to see on the blog, I’ll appreciate it. Before I continue to bore you with my ramblings, let’s get into the real reason why you stopped by today (you can already guess from the title). I told you guys in my anniversary post that I was going to share with you the story of how I started blogging. It’s not a crazy story, in fact it’s very silly but I thought you might enjoy knowing, so here it goes….

Earlier in 2016, I had what I’ll probably call the biggest crush I’ve ever had. I was honestly very jobless, and I would stalk the guy’s Instagram page consistently (pretty much day and night). Before then, my Instagram account was only used to share pictures and reply comments. However, during my cyber stalking days,  I discovered Instagram’s explore page, or maybe paid attention to it for the first time in the summer of 2016. I started taking notes of pictures, feeds and bios of people I followed. I noticed the word ‘blogger’ showed up a lot in their bios, in addition to website links.

I decided to click on a website one day, and that was how I discovered the blogging sphere. I realized that I followed many bloggers just because I thought their pictures were cool, but the more I discovered what they did as bloggers, the more intrigued I was. Long story short, I absolutely forgot about the guy I was crushing on, and started crushing on bloggers instead. It’s no surprise that when my friend mentioned jokingly to me that I start a blog, I took the comment seriously, and did start one. Here we are a year later, still crushing on blogs and now owning one.

That’s all from me!

I hope you enjoyed reading this. I missed you all very much, but I’m back now and you can wipe your tears. I want to hear your stories too. If you’re a blogger, how did you get into blogging? I hope I’m not the only one with this weird story. If you’ve ever had a huge one sided crush like mine, did anything amazing ever come of it? Please let me know, I need a laugh (bored at work).

Yours Truly….

p.s: I just came back from a family vacay to California, and I’m ready to go back. Anyone wanna plan a trip? Looool… just let me know.
