It is such an honor to be recognized and nominated for the Sunshine Blogger award, by my blogger friend, Koz of Koz diaries. The Sunshine Blogger Award is given to those who are inspiring and bring sunshine into the lives of their readers and fellow bloggers. To accept the award, I have to write this post by answering some questions, and nominate others. Isn’t it funny that I got nominated for the sunshine award the day I wore my sunshine dress, anyways, I digress.
Let’s get into it, shall we?
Why did you start blogging?
This is a long story, but I wrote a full post in July of how I came across the blogging sphere and what made me start mine. Read that here if you haven’t!
What is the most positive thing that has happened to you because of blogging?
Blogging has been a positive journey for me, especially because this blog is basically my journal, only public. It has helped me reflect on my growth as an individual, which is great. A more specific impact blogging has made on my life is providing platform where I can connect with people who I can inspire, likewise, they can inspire me. I get this interaction through your comments, so leave me a comment on this post, will you? Let’s connect. #Gratefulforyou
What do you do to keep positive and live an inspired life?
The answer to this is so simple, hahaaa. It’s Jesus! Honestly, knowing God and knowing myself in view of his love and grace, helps me stay positive and inspired, even on rough days.
What do you do when you aren’t blogging?
This is super obvious, but I’ll answer anyways. I’m a full time student if you didn’t know. When I’m not blogging, I’m either in class or studying, trying to get this degree!
What do you do to relax?
I relax most times by having a lazy weekend. I’ll hang out with friends, catch up on a TV show, watch a movie, cook something delicious while listening to a sermon/podcast. Sometimes, I’ll clean my room and do laundry, I find cleaning relaxing sometimes.
How do you come up with topics for your blog posts?
Through daily conversations and interactions mostly. Also, when I’m struggling, I want to share what I’m going through to see if anyone is going through or has gone through the same thing. When I’ve conquered such struggle, I also want to share, so others know that they can overcome too.
Tips for staying relevant in the blogosphere?
Remain in love with your blog! It’s easy to get carried away by the numbers, others’ fames, and comparison that you forget the reason why you started blogging. Remember, your desire was to inspire others. You’ve got to fight to avoid losing sight of that fact, and your readers will love you for that, I know I will.
Now, I nominate some bloggers who bring sunshine into my life through their posts, photos, smiles, and lives in general:
Jennifer of https://jenniferamani.com/
Danie of http://www.dateswithdanie.com/
(New Mummy) Kachi of http://www.kacheetee.com/
Grace of http://gafashion.blogspot.com/
Dammy of http://lifeofdammy.com/
I can’t wait to read your posts, thank you for always inspiring me! You might have been nominated already, but I’m nominating you again so you know just how special you are, hahaa.
Thank you so much for reading this post, I hope you learnt more about me from it. Let me know your thoughts in the comment section. Don’t forget to like, share and subscribe to the blog!
