Growing up, I looked forward to Sundays because it meant getting dressed in a cute gown, and eating yummy food for dinner. These things were great, but I loved Sundays mostly because I longed for the praise and worship session at church. In my little head, worshiping God was possible only through worship songs, and it was the only way I thought I could feel God’s presence. I grew up with this mindset ever since, until last year. Did anyone else grow up with this mindset?
My present definition of worship couldn’t be farther from what I thought it was when I was younger. Continue reading “Let’s chat || True Worship”
It is such an honor to be recognized and nominated for the Sunshine Blogger award, by my blogger friend, Koz of Koz diaries. The Sunshine Blogger Award is given to those who are inspiring and bring sunshine into the lives of their readers and fellow bloggers. To accept the award, I have to write this post by answering some questions, and nominate others. Isn’t it funny that I got nominated for the sunshine award the day I wore my sunshine dress, anyways, I digress.
Let’s get into it, shall we? Continue reading “I was nominated for the Sunshine Blogger Award!”
Can you guess what this post it about? Eyyyy, you guessed it…. I’m back with another style post! Fall season is upon us (even though I’m feeling like it’s winer), and I’m sharing some of my favorite fall wardrobe pieces with you. I’m hopeful that you’ll find something you like here. I will also put links to stores where you can purchase these items or similar.
First item on the list is a pop of colour leather jacket. I don’t remember why I bought this jacket; all I know is that I got it, and wore it only once because I thought it was too bright to be worn everyday. Fast forward to this year, and everyone seems to be wearing a bright leather jacket, from mustard yellow to blues. I decided to bring out my red jacket and I loved how I styled it here, so I’ll say it’s a must have. You can also be subtle and opt for a black leather jacket. I got this jacket from Express, almost three years ago, and they still have it, go grab yours. Continue reading “My Style || Fall Wardrobe Essentials”
Welcome again to the blog, you’ll be excited to learn that this post is not much of a read. I only wanted to share 5 songs from my playlist with you. These are songs I listen to, and am blessed by almost daily. I hope you listen and are blessed by them today, let me know in the comment section which ones you fall in love with. Enjoy!
First up , are two songs praising God and remembering his creation. I love listening to songs that describe God’s mightiness and the greatness of his creation. I’m always left in awe of how amazingly mighty my creator is. The songs showcasing these descriptions are; So Will I by Hillsong and a Yoruba song (Oluwa O Tobi) with translations by Evangelist Tope Alabi.

How are you doing? I know Monday is not my official posting schedule, but I decided to post anyways. I’ve procrastinated writing a blog post for two weeks, and that’s not cute. Therefore, I thought there was no better way to get back on the blogging bandwagon than putting up a Let’s chat post on the first day of the week! We haven’t had one since August, can you believe it? I miss sharing random thoughts, reading your beautiful stories and learning from you, that’s why this post is up. Continue reading “Let’s Chat ||Life Lately + Current Season”
I’m not sure if I’ve been slacking with my posts or not, but this post was meant to go up last week, following Part 1 of my study abroad realities. In this post, I will be sharing the not- so flashy realities of studying abroad. Continue reading “Let’s Chat- Realities of studying Abroad | Is it worth it? Part 2”
There’s really no point to this post, but I was going through my random notes and got reminded of what I wrote about Ephesians 4:30 two months ago. It’s a short writing I always go back to for encouragement and I hope it encourages you today. Have a fruitful week!
“And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption.” – Ephesians 4:30 Continue reading “Random Notes- Abundant Grace “

Today, I’m sharing with you four ways to make your blog posts or writings more readable. I can’t count the number of times I have been interested in reading a blog post, but lose interest almost immediately because of bad grammar and appearance. Your blog might be losing readers that you are not aware of due to this, and I hope this post helps in avoiding that.By no means am I a perfect writer, but I have learnt a lot since starting my blog, and I’m sharing these minimal tips with you, especially fellow bloggers. When you become a believer in a world that is forgetting God, and choosing to live life the way it pleases, it is easy to see the world in its broken state. It’s like you are given fresh lenses that enable you view the world differently. When you begin to see this brokenness, it’s easy to lose hope in God’s redemption plan sometimes . You start to take some of the worlds’ burden upon yourself, and it is too much to carry. I can’t count the number of times I thought to myself and prayed that God will just come back already.
