It is such an honor to be recognized and nominated for the Sunshine Blogger award, by my blogger friend, Koz of Koz diaries. The Sunshine Blogger Award is given to those who are inspiring and bring sunshine into the lives of their readers and fellow bloggers. To accept the award, I have to write this post by answering some questions, and nominate others. Isn’t it funny that I got nominated for the sunshine award the day I wore my sunshine dress, anyways, I digress.
Let’s get into it, shall we? Continue reading “I was nominated for the Sunshine Blogger Award!”
Today, I’m sharing with you four ways to make your blog posts or writings more readable. I can’t count the number of times I have been interested in reading a blog post, but lose interest almost immediately because of bad grammar and appearance. Your blog might be losing readers that you are not aware of due to this, and I hope this post helps in avoiding that.By no means am I a perfect writer, but I have learnt a lot since starting my blog, and I’m sharing these minimal tips with you, especially fellow bloggers. How time does fly. It’s been a full month of not writing or putting up any post, and this wasn’t my intent. Let me tell you, I had such huge blog plans for summer 2017. I was going to put up posts almost daily, and be annoyingly consistent. I’m so happy for you guys that this didn’t happen. I was very excited, but you know how life is, you can only plan for the future but you never know how it’ll go. God had a lot of unexpected plans for me. For example, I thought I would have plenty free time during the summer than I did during school but this wasn’t the case. I don’t know how it happened, but summer felt busier than the past semesters. Busy in the greatest way possible. Busy learning, growing, exploring and relaxing. Since I wasn’t prepared for the workload, I slacked with keeping up. But now, I’ve gotten into a steady rhythm of things (just when summer is about to end, yay me), and I’m back! Continue reading “Funny story of how I started blogging”
Eyyyyyyy heyyyyyy….. I’m super excited today, and I’m sure you can guess why. On the 29th of June 2016, I shared my very first blog post accidentally (story for another day). Fast forward to July 2017, and my baby is 1 (that’s right, this blog is my precious baby), and that’s why I wanted everything about this post/celebration to be perfect. First of all, I need to give a huge shout-out to you. Yes, you who is reading right now. I am so grateful to you for taking the time to read this post, I appreciate you. To all who have been reading this young blog since day 1, you are the real MVPs and I love you. You keep me going, and you are the reason why Hazy Fantasies is still alive today. I hope you feel very special.
If you asked me a year ago if I wanted to be a blogger, I probably wouldn’t have understood what you were asking me. I only discovered the blogging world in the summer of 2016, through Instagram and YouTube. I love reading and viewing cute photos, so it was no surprise that I got hooked on blogs. I started mine in June, and it’s been a journey ever since. Blogging is such an experience (a positive one). It’s been an amazing documentation of my growth as an individual and my struggles. I love connecting with people on here and building a community. I also love receiving insights and advice from my readers, I honestly apply your wise inputs in my life. Another major lesson I’ve learnt is, blogging is a preview of what real life would be like after university. Working on projects, researching, being disappointed by suppliers/clients, getting bored and finding inspiration, collaborations, networking are things I’ve dealt with and continue to deal with as a blogger.

Hi everyone! Welcome, welcome back to Hazy Fantasies. I hope you’re all having a relaxing Saturday, I definitely am. It feels so good to wake up at 12pm, and then sleep some more. The inspiration for today’s post came from working with some vendors, and sometimes observing. I’ve had the worst luck with photographers so far, I really don’t know why, please pray that my experience with them gets better. From bailing on me on the day of a shoot, to me chasing them or being ignored sometimes, I’ve seen it all. In my mind, this makes zero sense because if someone is going to pay you for your services, you should be chasing after them, not the other way around. So, in today’s post, I’m sharing some tips on how to make your hustle better this year, from my experience. Continue reading “Three ways to double your hustle”
