Hi Beautiful,
Your occasional style blogger is back (I only do outfit posts when I feel called to, hence the title).
Hi Beautiful,
Your occasional style blogger is back (I only do outfit posts when I feel called to, hence the title).
I thought a light post might do us some good this week. I realized I wore the same coat differently for my last two birthdays, and I want to hear your thoughts; what do you think of how I styled both looks? I love the effortless, elegant look I got from my wear last year, but I think I love the sophisticated look I wore this year even more. However, the decision is up to you, and I would love to hear your thoughts.
My coat is from Missguided.com Continue reading “My Style || Elegant Vs. Sophisticated”
Can you guess what this post it about? Eyyyy, you guessed it…. I’m back with another style post! Fall season is upon us (even though I’m feeling like it’s winer), and I’m sharing some of my favorite fall wardrobe pieces with you. I’m hopeful that you’ll find something you like here. I will also put links to stores where you can purchase these items or similar.
First item on the list is a pop of colour leather jacket. I don’t remember why I bought this jacket; all I know is that I got it, and wore it only once because I thought it was too bright to be worn everyday. Fast forward to this year, and everyone seems to be wearing a bright leather jacket, from mustard yellow to blues. I decided to bring out my red jacket and I loved how I styled it here, so I’ll say it’s a must have. You can also be subtle and opt for a black leather jacket. I got this jacket from Express, almost three years ago, and they still have it, go grab yours. Continue reading “My Style || Fall Wardrobe Essentials”
I’m sorry for neglecting my style posts for the longest time, it’s mostly because I assumed that you enjoyed my ‘deep’ posts more. I also don’t think I’m the most stylish person, when compared to fashion bloggers who you can probably learn more from, but I received a comment this week requesting more style posts, and who am I to ignore. That was my cue to bring back style posts, and here’s the first one after several months. Hope you like it!
Hi beautiful,
Welcome to Hazy Fantasies, I’m glad you stopped by today. It’s not officially summertime but it might as well be, the weather already feels like summer, I’m out of school and I feel light-hearted. I decided a while ago to switch up some things this summer. Try hopping on a few trends, explore new states or cities in the U.S.A, get back to reading novels, and most importantly, relax. Let’s see how I’m doing…
From the above list, the first thing I did was try a new hair color, I was indecisive on purple or burgundy, but you can see what color I went with in the end. I love how well the burgundy hair suits my skin tone, the curly hair is a plus. I also wanted to get into head wraps and bandanas this summer. Fortunately, I got some from Perade (my favorite store to shop for African accessories). I love the pink color of this bandana, and the pattern on it is icing on the cake. Just for the purpose of looking glam, I packed my hair into a side bun, and added some hoop earrings. What do you think of the look? Do you think I did justice to the bandana or it did justice to me? Hi everyone, welcome back to another style post. It’s been long since I did one of these (let’s hope I remember how). I was inspired by Jennifer Amani when I saw a dashiki look on her Instagram some days ago. I got this vibrant green dashiki from Perade (my favourite African store) and you can purchase yours via this link or through their Instagram.
For my first style, I paired my green dashiki with a pair of leggings and black flats. Nothing fancy, just a causal look that was worn to class. The picture was taken a year ago, as you can see I was looking like a baby girl. Continue reading “Style your Dashiki | Two ways”
Hi guys! I know you’re probably thinking, ‘why is this talkative posting again?’, but this one is to your advantage, especially the lovebirds. As you know, love is in the air, and valentine’s day is exactly one week away. I wasn’t inspired to style an outfit for the day, mostly because I never do anything , it’s just a regular day for me. However, I couldn’t help but fall in love with this outfit I saw Zaria of (http://www.adoseoffab.com/), wear in her latest post.

Hey guys! Welcome to Hazy Fantasies. I really appreciate you taking your time to check out my blog. My 18th birthday was this past Saturday, and for this, my girlfriends and I had a photoshoot! Although everything seems perfect in this picture, it was a struggle making this shoot come to life, but I am happy with how it all turned out #findthegood. I also want to give a huge shout out to all my amazing friends! I don’t know what I would do without you guys.
This post is all pictures, so relax and enjoy the view. All the pictures were taken by my friend, Laolu (his Instagram is Laoluade) Continue reading “Birthday diaries”
HEEYYYYY…
Remember back in high school when we were forced to wear school uniforms? I won’t be wrong if I was to say that almost everyone was against this concept, will I?. I know my friends and I were not having it. We would try to shorten our school skirts, be fancy with our school cardigans or do anything to feel like we weren’t trapped in uniform. Continue reading “Would you still wear school uniforms?”
Happy Sunday everyone! How are you guys doing? No need to ask this, I know y’all are doing great! This post is a very random one. Yesterday, I had two of my friends celebrate their birthdays (one with a brunch and the other, a surprise dinner and karaoke night). I had so much fun and wanted to share with you guys what I was up to. Continue reading “Excuse the lady in red”
